OMG, long time no blog... had too much fun this summer in Japan. now back in NYC,  gotta get my lazy ass back in business... First thing first, I will be Djing @ this event NPX (Northeast Power Exchange) this coming October. This event is hosted by a group of producers, performer and Djs in  Electoric music who are actively perform in Northeast area of United States. It's gonna be a bunch of up & coming talents with a lot of energy to show their love of music. It's just what I need most right now! Please come and give some support!

They have been throwing the house party on the very last Saturday of the month that goes till 7am!! This is like the only place in NYC right now that carries what NYC used to be. I'm super happy to announce that Mark Decheser is coming to DJ @ Pukka Friday. He is the organizer of this event called 'Broketronica' over @ Philly. I had an opportunity to DJ last week there and I loved his 'mash-up' DJ style. From dropping  headhunters to KC & the sunshine band etc. It just sounded so fresh. I will promise to upload the photos from the Philly event as well as this friday. Hope everyone can make it!!!

Hi all,

This weekly event 'Pukka Fridays' keeps me busy these days. It comes back so quick, I'm just trying to keep up. Anyhow last party my friend Anreiwho is a photographer/DJ/music lover appeared into the scene. As soon as he came in with the camera in his hand with his iggy pop like steps (much more rhythmic though when Anrei does it..) made the coolest moment @ the party and definitely got the party started. We went to dinner afterwards to eat burgers and talked about doing more mash ups on a DJ set and I'm definitely going to that direction. Anyhow thanks for dropping by Anrei!! He did send me photos from that night. They are coolest s**t!

I feel bad not being able to write more often, but this week went so quick!!! First thing first, I just wanna thank you all the people who came out for our Pukka Party opening last week. I have to say that it was such a great time to be there. So many people came out!! We were going strong until 4am!! OK, so this week, I get to have DJ Silva in a house !!! She is like a guru in house music scene in Tokyo. (She spins and sings!!)She just released album from renowned NYC based dance record label, King Street Sounds and she was very kind enough to play a set for us regardless of the fact she's been fairy busy going back and forth between Tokyo and New York doing her promotions. I feel great to have her and to have a chance to see her perform in right front of me!! Anyhow this is definitely a must-to-go show of the night in the city because I'm spinning too!!!!! more info on this event

Hi all,

I'm very glad to announce that I'll be DJing @ 'Pukka Party' @ Highline on this Friday 14th. I'm more interested in playing "mash ups"these days, especially that being on Friday night, I wanna have some "wit" to my dj set. I'd like to challenge myself to play wider range of music genres (even both at the same time which I like to do a lot) just so I can surprise and please the crowd hopefully. The place is awesome though. By the way following week 21st, we are having DJ Silva (King Street Sounds) as a special guest DJ appearance. I'll keep you posted.

Hello all,

I had a problem with internet connection that I couldn't really upload stuff on this blog... which was frustrating but finally I got a technician to come this morning when I was half sleep watching this guy fixing and changing a cable modem@9am, and it's got fixed!!! OK,this is Jim's latest mix that he sent me a week ago. He will be Djing with me on March 14th Friday @ Highline. He is definitely a solid talent, and also a character in person. One time, we got to talk about a bit of philosophy in general and we went on and on about life and the prospects to it. This guy knows something and  can talk!! Now I'm reading Nietzsche by Walter Kaufmann because of him...It was cool that I got to see different side of him that I don't really see on a Dj booth.
